We will be selecting 3 classrooms in Ontario to participate in Read to Ride. We launched our Read to Ride program earlier this year with the goal of helping children sharpen their reading skills by encouraging regular practice with fun incentives (ballots, pizza parties, new bikes) along the way.
Ultimately, we hope the Read to Ride program helps children develop more confidence in their reading skills and themselves.

It’s Jersey Day for Sarah & Stacy

It’s tradition that when a new staff member reaches their three-month milestone, we host a Jersey Day to award them with their official Excalibur hockey jersey (what’s more Canadian than that?).
Each Excalibur jersey features the team member’s last name on the back and the last two digits of the year they joined our team.

Our Second Contest Champions Winner
Congratulations to Sandra Fink on winning our second Contest Champions giveaway for a $500 Backyard Yard Fun Prize Package! The prize package contained: Giant Tumbling Timber Game, a Cornhole Game, a Spikeball Game, and 2 Zero Gravity Chairs.

September’s Defender Spotlight shines on Darlene McCowan in our Clinton office!
Darlene joined our commercial team in September 2021 and has been a fantastic addition!
She joined the insurance industry after a career in the non-profit world, which made this transition a significant change. But we’ve all quickly learned that Darlene approaches challenges with determination and confidence.
Her enthusiasm and eagerness to learn is infectious, making her an ideal fit for her Commercial Lines Support role because it’s a complex job requiring constant learning.
