Giving Back: A Year in Review

Each year, we pledge to donate a portion of our profits back into our community. Whether it’s donations, sponsorships, volunteering, or taking part in local initiatives, it’s all about being part of a larger community that cares. Here are highlights of some of the things we have done this year:

Supporting Local Hospitals and Paramedics During the Pandemic

– We donated $2,500 to the Huron County Paramedic Services to help purchase ten digital forehead thermometers.

– We also donated $1,600 for the purchase of 1,000 isolation gowns for the Clinton Public Hospital staff.

Takeout Tuesday Initiative

As part of our commitment to champion local, for six weeks we encouraged people to share and support their favourite local restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic. Each week, we gave lucky winners $100 gift cards to local restaurants.

Monthly $100 Donations

Each month, we draw a name from our monthly referrals and reward that person with $100 to keep and a $100 donation to the charity of their choice. This year some of the charities chosen were:

– The Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program in Guelph

– Canadian Cancer Society

– The Food Bank of Waterloo Region

– Huron County Food Bank Distribution Centre

– North Huron Community Food Share

– The Salvation Army in Niagara Falls

– Seaforth Food Bank

– Victim Services Division of the Waterloo Regional Police

– United Way – Niagara

Huron Perth Christmas Bureau

It has been a challenging year for many families, so to help spread holiday cheer and make sure every child finds a gift under the tree, we have donated $500 to the Huron Perth Christmas Bureau.
