Take Advantage of our Winter Tire Discount!

Got your winter tires on? You could save up to 5% on insurance!

Did you know that many insurance providers will give you a discount if you have fitted your vehicle with winter tires?

Typical savings run from 2% to 5%. Simply contact your Excalibur Insurance broker if you have recently purchased winter tires for your vehicle, and we will do the rest!

Please Note: If you have told us about your winter tires before, the discount will be automatically applied again this year!

How Carpooling Impacts Your Insurance

In 2022, Canada’s national average for gas prices surpassed $2/litre. Although gas prices have decreased modestly since then, they are still higher than many would like.

Sharing rides with others to commute to work, school, or other destinations not only promises to reduce the number of vehicles on the road but also presents an opportunity to foster social connections and cost savings.

When purchasing auto insurance, you will likely be asked many questions about the type of car you drive, how often you drive it, and its usage. You will need to be upfront with your insurance broker – especially if your vehicle’s “usage” includes carpooling. We explain why in our latest blog.

Welcome Back Selina Consitt and Krista Rose

Selina Consitt and Krista Rose are now back from their maternity leaves!

While we certainly missed having them in the office every day, it has been a joy to watch Selina’s son, Kayce, and Krista’s daughter, Scarlet, grow over the past year.

We are thrilled to have them back in the office!
