Excalibur Insurance Captures Prestigious Innovation Award
Excalibur Insurance has been recognized as one of the most innovative insurance broker in Ontario, at the 2015 IBAO (Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario) Awards Gala, recently held in Toronto.
The 2015 IBAO – Aviva Innovation Award is designed to champion the broker, brokerage or group of brokers who demonstrate new thinking and unparalleled commitment for incorporating innovation into the customer experience. In the words of Excalibur President Jeff Roy; “for us innovation is about constantly challenging ourselves to consistently demonstrate through our actions that people matter”.
Excalibur Insurance Group tied for 2nd place out of three finalists selected from more than 650 brokerages representing 12, 000 brokers in Ontario. “Being better isn’t a destination or an end game, it’s a process.” said Mr. Roy, “It means going a little farther, pushing a little harder, and caring a little more than anyone else in our category.
From day one, doing things differently has fueled the Excalibur Insurance Team. From their efforts to introduce technology that reduces rates for young drivers, their transparent online quoting engine to their community efforts to recognize, engage and stay in touch with customers – they are without doubt ‘champions of people’.
His team also echoes Roy’s final thoughts; “coming in 2nd place means one thing, we’ll try harder.” Perhaps Excalibur’s most innovative move? Truly caring about the people they serve, and the communities they do it in.
