Most Stolen Vehicles of 2022
Each year, roughly 80,000 vehicles are stolen in Canada – and car theft is only on the rise. Vehicle theft is a serious issue in Canada and costs Canadians upwards of $1 billion annually. This loss impacts all drivers, but especially those driving vehicles that are more appealing to thieves – and can spike their insurance premiums.

10 Years of the Excalibur Mobile App
Watch our first promotional video from 2013, and prepare for a good laugh!
If you missed our announcement last month, we’ve recently made some significant changes to our Excalibur Mobile App, including improvements to the layout, navigation, and overall user experience.
It’s been almost 10 years since we first launched the Excalibur Mobile App, so we decided to take a trip down memory lane and share with you the very first promotional video we created back in 2013. Let’s just say we’ve come a long way since then! You can watch the video here.
Recognizing & Avoiding Auto Insurance Fraud
In a single year, auto insurance fraud can cost policyholders upwards of $1 billion. It’s a big problem in the insurance industry, whether or not you’re aware of it, and it could be causing your insurance premiums to go up – even if you yourself have not committed fraud. When fraudsters act, everyone else ends up paying.
Our latest blog explains the difference between Opportunistic Fraud and Premeditated Fraud, and provides tips for avoiding auto insurance fraud following a collision. You can read our blog here.
Read to Ride: Schools Announced – Winter 2023
Read to Ride Winter 2023 will be starting in February, and we’re excited to reveal the 2 classrooms that we will be working with:
- Grade 3/4 teacher Jordanna Logan from Goderich Public School
- Grade 3/4 teacher Jessica Clark from North Easthope Public School
We launched our Read to Ride program earlier this year with the goal of helping children sharpen their reading skills by encouraging regular practice with fun incentives (ballots, pizza parties, new bikes) along the way.
Ultimately, we hope the Read to Ride program helps children develop more confidence in their reading skills and themselves.
