Insurance Partner Spotlight: Economical
Welcome back to our “Insurance Partner Spotlight,” a new segment in our newsletter that will feature our company partners! Since Excalibur Insurance works with over 40 of Canada’s Top Insurers, our goal is for our clients to better understand the options and speciality products that we have available for them.
This month’s spotlight is on Economical Insurance, which is under Definity Financial Corporation’s family of brands. In addition to Economical, Definity Financial Co. also owns Sonnet Insurance, Family Insurance Solutions, and Petline Insurance.
Economical Insurance was founded in 1871 in the community of Berlin (now Kitchener), Ontario, when a group of neighbours pooled their money together to help each other during times of hardship and natural disaster.
Economical now insures more than one million Canadians and offers auto, home, farm, and commercial business coverage options.
February’s Defender Spotlight – Ken Colquhoun
February’s Defender Spotlight shines on Ken Colquhoun in our Exeter office!
Ken has been in the insurance industry for over 25 years. He previously worked as an insurance claims adjuster before joining the Excalibur team in 2007 as a Branch Manager. Ken’s role requires him to be both a personal and commercial broker, as well as our Sales Team Manager.
Ken is a fantastic mentor: always willing to listen, help answer questions, and provide thoughtful insight. All excellent characteristics to have in a manager!
