In September 2021, two people were caught impersonating the owners of a home in the Etobicoke area. They had hired a real estate agent and put the house up for sale. These individuals successfully sold the home, and new homeowners arrived to take possession of the property. Later, the original homeowners came home from their vacation to discover that their house had been sold without their consent.
Incidents like these, known as title fraud, are not common, but they can be unfortunate situations where the innocent family ends up paying – even when they haven’t done anything wrong.
Jordanna Logan’s grade 3/4 class at Goderich Public School has just earned their second pizza party 🍕 after the class collectively read for another 500 hours! Since February 6th, the class has read for over 1,000 hours!
Jessica Clark’s grade 3/4 class at North Easthope Public School had their first pizza party a few weeks ago and celebrated with a PJ day! Nothing is more exciting than PJs, stuffed animals, and pizza! 🍕
