Welcome to the Team, Kyle and Brenda!

We want to introduce the two newest members of our team: Kyle Skinner and Brenda Jamieson!

Kyle and his wife, Jordan, recently welcomed their first child, Oliver, to their family. Before joining the insurance industry, Kyle worked in the golf business. He started working for a direct-writer insurance company in 2017, selling home, auto, commercial, and farm insurance before becoming a Financial Advisor specializing in life insurance and investments. Kyle holds a Professional Financial Advisor designation, a Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario license, and has a Chartered Insurance Professional designation in progress. Kyle will be working as an Account Executive, helping new clients navigate the coverages they need for their unique lifestyle while finding them a great price.

Brenda is joining our team with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. She loves spending time with her 4 children and 8 grandchildren, as well as her dogs, Stevie Ray and Reba Lucille. In her spare time, Brenda loves baking, cooking, and party planning. Brenda will be working in our London office as a Personal Lines Account Manager, helping clients with policy changes, renewals, and new lines of business.

Read to Ride: Nominate a Classroom!

Excalibur’s Read to Ride Program is back for a 4th year!

Attention Grade 3 or 4 Teachers: We’re looking for classrooms to participate in the Read to Ride program for Winter 2025.

We will be selecting 3 classrooms in Ontario to participate in Read to Ride. We launched our Read to Ride program with the goal of helping children sharpen their reading skills by encouraging regular practice with fun incentives (ballots, pizza parties, new bikes) along the way.

Ultimately, we hope the Read to Ride program helps children develop more confidence in their reading skills and themselves.

Janet has been part of the Excalibur team for 8 years, but she has worked in the insurance industry for over 40. In fact, Janet sold our VP of Marketing, Paul Wettlaufer, his first auto policy when he was 20 years old!

Janet’s knowledge and guidance are valuable resources for our team and clients. Janet is always keen to help others who have questions. Despite 40 years in insurance, she still shows enthusiasm for continuous industry learning.
