Celebrating Nurses Week

It’s Nurses Week, so we want to take a moment to thank all of the frontline health care workers who have dedicated their careers to caring for others.

To say thank you, this week we visited the Clinton Public Hospital, the Clinton Family Health Team, and the South Huron Hospital to bring every staff member a perennial flower for their garden.

It’s our way of saying a heartfelt thank-you for always giving back to the community – just like these flowers will.

Community Champion Spotlight – Hullett Marsh

Our Community Champion Spotlight is back – and better than ever!

In honour of Earth Day on April 22, we sat down with Hullett Marsh Manager, Scott Austin, to chat about the birds and the bees – and all of the other wildlife that you can find at the Hullett Provincial Wildlife Area! This property is a fantastic place to hike, canoe, horseback ride, and hunt.

A big thank-you to Scott for taking the time to talk to us. You and your team are doing amazing work in the community! Happy to make a $1,000.00 donation to Friends of Hullett to help fund all your great work.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Mothers Day Contest

Have you entered our Mother’s Day Contest yet?

This year we’re celebrating two things we love dearly – mothers and the Stratford Festival Theatre!

The Stratford Festival is an ‘arts and culture’ hub in our local area, so we’re pumped to spread the word about the return of the festival season (they’re doing an outdoor festival this year)!

To celebrate, we’re giving away a $200 gift certificate to the Stratford Festival Theatre! To enter, visit our FacebookTwitter, or Instagram page for full contest details.

Welcome to the team Savannah

It’s Excalibur tradition for new teammates to be “knighted” with their official jersey after their first three months on the job.

Savannah Nigh has been doing an exceptional job in her role as a Personal Lines Insurance Broker, and we’re thrilled to have her as part of our team!

Introducing CAA Insurance: Our New Insurance Partner

Introducing CAA Auto Insurance - Our New Insurance Partner

We have some big news to share!

Excalibur Insurance has partnered with the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) and are now officially appointed to sell CAA insurance products.

CAA has been an industry leader for over 100 years, advocating for improved traffic safety, transportation infrastructure, and consumer protection. Nearly 80 years after CAA first began offering insurance to its members, they pivoted in 2015 to allow brokers to sell their products.

Excalibur Insurance is proud to be one of the select brokers in our region to represent CAA, which offers competitive rates for customers with clean driving records and at least 10 years of driving experience.

You can learn more about CAA here.

Learn How to Protect Your Vehicle From Depreciation

Protect Your Vehicle From Depreciation Check Out Out Blog

Imagine this: you buy a brand-new vehicle for $40,000 and take it home. You and your family use this vehicle daily for over four years, and then it gets in an accident. To your dismay, your vehicle is totalled. Luckily, you have auto insurance coverage that will reimburse you. Right?

Not exactly. Yes, your auto insurance carrier may write you a small cheque for the vehicle that was written-off, but only as much as it was worth (the depreciated value) at the time of the accident.

That’s where Optiom Prime comes in. Optiom Prime will reimburse you for what you paid, unlike your average auto insurance policy. Here’s how it works.
